The CIA is looking to contract FCIAs to prepare exam content for the Institute’s FCIA exams’ Group Benefits and Property and Casualty tracks. This is an excellent opportunity for actuaries who are passionate about education and interested in developing challenging, real-world scenarios to help participants learn the skills and knowledge required to excel as future FCIAs.
With guidance from, and in collaboration with, the FCIA exam subcommittees and Head Office staff, the incumbent(s) will write exam questions (in the form of well-developed practical scenarios) and prepare solutions, grading rubrics, and other relevant material to help with the administration of the CIA’s Fellowship exams.
The open-book, track-specific FCIA exams are delivered through an online learning management system. Exams must be practical and realistic, targeting higher cognitive levels that are representative of work expected of Fellows in real-world environment.
The contract duration is flexible.
